Terms of service

ROTA 92 is the design store of Readers of the Amazon, a student initiative. By placing an order on this site you agree to these terms. Profits from every sale fund community libraries in rural Amazonas through our partner, the Brazilian NGO Vaga Lume.

Orders & payment

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars, and sales tax is collected where the law requires it. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price or we suspect a fraudulent order, we may cancel it and refund you in full.

Products & fulfillment

Every item is printed to order by our production partner and shipped from their nearest facility. Production typically takes 2–5 business days before shipping. Colors on screen may differ slightly from the printed product.

Shipping

You will receive tracking by email when your order ships. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout: we can correct it if you contact us before the order goes into production, but we are not responsible for orders shipped to an address entered incorrectly, or for carrier delays once a package is in transit.

Our designs

All artwork, product designs, and text on this site belong to Readers of the Amazon or the credited artists. Please do not reproduce or resell them without permission.

Limitation of liability

The store is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. We may update them from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Write to help@rota92.com.

Return policy

Every ROTA 92 item is printed just for you when you order it. There is no warehouse of extras. That keeps waste (and cost to the cause) down, but it means we handle returns differently than a big store.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or isn't what you ordered, we will make it right with a free replacement or a full refund. Email help@rota92.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem.

Sizing & change of mind

Because each item is made to order, we can't accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind or an ordered size that doesn't fit. Please check the size guide on the product page before ordering. If we made a sizing error on our end, that counts as a wrong item and we'll replace it.

Lost in transit

If tracking shows your package is lost or it never arrives, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date and we'll send a replacement or refund you.

Cancellations & refunds

Need to cancel or fix an order? Email us as soon as possible. If production hasn't started yet, we'll cancel and refund in full. Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.

Privacy policy

We keep as little of your data as we can, and we never sell it or share it with anyone except the partners below who need it to get your order to you.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email, shipping address, and the contents of your order. When you join the waitlist: your email. Your cart is stored in your own browser and never leaves it until you check out. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers, and we set no tracking cookies.

Card details

Your card number goes straight to Stripe, our payment processor, and is never seen by or stored on this site. Stripe handles it under its own privacy policy.

Who else sees your information

Your name and shipping address go to Printful, our production and fulfillment partner, so they can make and ship your order. Your email address goes to EmailOctopus if you join the waitlist. Stripe receives your payment and billing details. That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for support, refunds, and tax recordkeeping. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.

Your choices

Write to help@rota92.com to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will handle it within 30 days. California residents have these rights under the CCPA; we honor the same requests from everyone regardless of where you live. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
